Can iPad be connection via Bluetooth

Hi all

Can an iPad be connected to the PCM system via Bluetooth to allow the sound from movies on the pad to come through the cars speakers?

Car will be a 2011 CTT

Yes. I've tried connecting an iPad 2 to the PCM and it works well.

Did it play the movie sound through the hifi speakers so passengers can watch the iPad screen but get the full benefit of the audio from the Burmester speakers?

Yup. I played movies using the VLC app and transmit sound really well using the PCM surround sound setting. Mine is Bose speakers though if that makes a difference.

When you say VLC app what do you mean please? The videos are stored on my iPad but not sure what format, do I need to play them through this app you mention rather than just simply pressing play on the pad?

Nop, you can play it thru any app you want. I'm just stating what I used. Which is a media player app. Do you have difficulty connecting the ipad to the PCM bluetooth?
