How mad should you get when you drive 2 hours to inspect a car which is located at the owner's mechanic and you are given keys to a 630HP modded 2004 TT and you see the tag is expired.......just happened to me today...so I drove around the block and then went home!

 

Not sure why that is a deal breaker. I dont think it is very wise to let a stranger drive something like that either.

 

Should have gave you a heads up.
+1 on letting just anyone drive a car like that.
I know when I was looking, ran into a lot of owners skittish about driving car without them in it.
If you like it go back and try to get dealer plate.
Off subject --- I was in early 20s, went to try out 1967 hemi belvedere, on ride, punched it in first gear, went to hit second and miss shifted, yikes, I thought the owner was going to have a heart attack.
