Who is going to shift sector. I just looked and there have been cars added to the exotic class. 1-2011 Veyron, 1-918, 1- huracan and a 2015 R8 have all been added since I last looked at the list. Longboarder you will get your chance to run the 918 after all! we don't have a chance against the veyron and the P-1 hopefully we can make it close against the 918? Good times are coming.

Yeah Mark the Veyron and 918 are Armik's. They were always coming. Armik can bring whatever he wants at these events and plans on moping up the exotic class. His 12-year old son Steven won the first ever Exotic class this summer at the Oregon event with Armik's McLaren 650 at 163mph trap.

My car is a bit faster than last Shift Sector with a tune that will get me all the way to the end without fuel cutting and I dropped a couple pounds with race seats, but only chance I have beating the 918 is if Armik lets Steven drive it.

No chance on the Veyron. It's not even a normal one. It's the grand vitesse or whatever it's called.

Ha a 12 year old, I better go get my 300hp shot of nitrous off my old camero and Mcgyver it on my 911 no way a 12 year old is beating me lol. I figured you would be faster than last event I was hoping you would have a fuel system work around for your car. My car is at the shop right now it should be substantially quicker than the last event. I was hoping to keep it within a car length of you or so, I just dont know how much that Meth kit adds in Hp for you.

Can't wait to run you and the Hyper cars, FYI I cant even pronounce Vitesse so I sure as hell cant afford one..

 

So any non-GIAC tuned 997.2 or 991's coming? Such a shame if not since we have a perfect place to see who is really the fastest.

 

Non GIAC tuned as in stock? If so and there is an available spot on grid then I would be down, especially if it helps aggregate useful data for the community.

 

What Longboarder was referring to was Cobb tuned cars. We're still trying to see how GIAC Stage 2 and Cobb stage 2 or Stage 3 versus Stage 3 cars compare. Either way, it would be fun to see how our tuned cars do against a bone stock car as well. Sign up Dude!

I so wish I could have shipped my car out to California ShiftSector but 5000 bucks or more in shipping cost round-trip didn't seem like a good investment for an event. That will be in the ballpark of upgraded VTGs

That would be really funny, Im still waiting to fly down and pick my car up, from Irvine and then going straight back to Coalinga.
