Planning to get new tires, 265/50-19

The outer edges of the front tires are starting to show signs of wear. When I did the 20K service, the service advisor said that this was normal for the CD. Maybe in 5K I'll need new tires.

Checked tire rack and there are not that many choices for the 265/50-19. Right now I am on Goodyear LS-2. They have been fine but then I don't drive aggressively. Any recommendations for all season? Shall I stick with NO approved ones? Thanks.

after reading the articles on Porsche approved tires from Christophorus magazine (I think 2 issues ago?) and seeing how stringent the process is to get final approval from Porsche, I will always stick to the approved one now, if it's good enough for them, it's good enough for me, afterall, tires are arguably the most important things the car rides on.

The new Pirelli Scorpion Verde Plus, which has no Porsche approval yet, seems like a great tire in this size at a huge discount compared to the LS2 and Michelin. The N0 Pirelli Scorpion Verde is on backorder and with the new design I doubt it'll still be produced. The "Plus" edition was created with the Cayenne (and other sporty utility vehicles) in mind. I'm about to try a set. For $935 through tire rack what's the worst that could happen...

Thank you all for your responses. I inspected the front tires again this morning and noticed the driver's side starting to show cracks. Showed it to the service advisor and it seems to be ok so far. But I think it is time to start thinking of changing them all.

Service advisor stated that this seems to be happening to all season tires. I suggested maybe going to the performance tires like the Goodyear F-1 and he seems to agree with the idea.

[Edit: Anyone tried the Goodyear Eagle F-1 asymmetrical? Kind of on sale at Tirerack, if you can say that $300 is on sale]

You need new tires asap. They are breaking down quickly.

Thanks for the responses. Took it to a local tire store that I trust. The advisor also said is normal and should keep driving them. Well, since both the dealership and the tire store says it is ok, then I'll defer this purchase.
