Driver's seat belt rubbing on seat?
The bottom inside edge of the driver's seat belt receptacle on my '13 S rubs on the seat bolster, making a small but irritating sound pretty much constantly as I drive. I'm sure it's some combination of my size and shape, seat belt height, seat height, etc that positions it just right (or wrong) to do so, and of course the belt tension keeps the receptacle up tight against the seat, so repositioning it provides only very temporary relief.
Interestingly, the passenger side front receptacle has a rubber-like corrugated 'boot' that covers the stalk and wiring, extending up over the base of the actual latch housing. It seems like that would be an effective noise presenter - but there's nothing like it on the driver's side assembly, just the 'stalk' and wiring below the latch housing.
Online parts diagrams just show one part for the entire latch assembly, no picture or separate part number for the boot. Wondering if the passenger side is a revised/improved version.
Anybody had this problem? Anybody have the boot on *both* sides?
Thanks!
