how do we get car out of limp mode 958.2?

how do we get car out of limp mode 958.2?

will a simple battery disconnect fix it?

Not sure I would mess around with it. Went into limp mode for a reason. Could be simple, could be serious. Get it to a dealer.

If you call the road side assistance number they'll tow it to the dealer for you.

Limp mode means there is something wrong with the engine or transmission and continued driving could damage the car. Limp mode is kinda like the doughnut spare, it's just meant to let you get it to a safe place.

Went to dealer and they said limp mode would trigger a CEL which I didn't have. Went to muffler shop and they fixed a clamp leak and it seems to have fixed my poorly accelerating car problem
