Just saw the video for the new Cayenne Platinum Edition and it looks like Apple CarPlay is coming to the Cayenne...

nah. do a search for carplay porsche on cloud 9 something website. There it claims an upgrade PX 23 or something like that is available in spring but it's like 3K plus 1K labor.

my dealer still doesn't have info about this but don't lose hope. I think it said only pcm 3 cars can upgrade.

Is it time for a parts bin model already? Guess the new model is closer than I realized.

Don't all the 958.2s come with Bi-Xenon at a minimum now? The analog clock is also already standard. Why call out things that all the models have?

The new PCM looks cool though. Wonder if it would be plug/play in a 958.1? I expect it will be something obscene like the $6500 for the current replacement, but it's be worth it to replace the current POS with something semi-appealing and up to date...

bi definitely not. its a whole new pcm unit. I don't see why old units can't just be updated to support it though.
