EVOMS/EVOMSit Software Tuning

Ok boys I finally pulled the trigger on my 2011 958TT tune. The master minds at Evolution Motorsports did a fantastic job with my 955TT, I can only imagine what they can do with the 958TT!!

I'm starting this thread so I can relay my experience and some real world numbers for others interested.

I should get the tuning equipment today. This is brand new hardware EVO just released, I'll get a picture up as soon as I get it in. This will eliminate the need for a wire harness as well as the obvious, no need to send your ECU in for the flash. This puts all the power in your hands, have a tune for the track, every day driving or flash it back to stock in the event of warranty paranoia.

Working with EVO has always been a pleasure, this time I got an email and call from the president and founder on this tune. I also got a complete questionnaire sent to me asking all sorts of things, things I honestly didn't know were possible with this tune. After filling out the questionnaire I got another call going over everything, things like what's my everyday elevation and whats the highest elevation I'll be driving at. I'm in Colorado and he caught that from my address so he wanted to ensure he tunes for high elevation here. I hope this is ok with EVO but I wanted to share this so I'll attach it.

Thus far my upgrades are the following: http://www.evoms.com/category_s/2115.htm

Stay tuned...(PUN intended)

Any comments on the results of the upgrade?

Looked into this a little and something doesn't seem right.

Porsche claim 3.8s 0-60 for the new Turbo S which is essentially the same vehicle with more HP (570).

So if these guys are giving a boost to 580 why are they giving 0.4s slower results in their video? Not to mention that Porsche are known for their conservative figures so the new CTTS might actually give better time than 3.8s

Something doesn't add up. I'm certainly interested in doing an upgrade to my CTT but not if it will perform insignificantly better.

The information on our website is not for the upgrade the OP is installing. xTapouTx installed our OBD port ECU reflash. We will be posting more details about the ECU flash soon
