DieselGate Canada

Has anyone heard anything about the 3L diesel issue in Canada. Porsche sent a letter a while back and that was it. There's nothing in the papers, no updates on https://www.vwemissionsinfo.ca/news-updates/ since May?

Email received from Porsche Canada:

Dear XXXXXX

Thank you for your e-mail regarding your Porsche Cayenne Diesel. For Porsche in Canada, we are currently waiting on approval from EPA, CARB, and other regulatory bodies such as Environment Canada and Transport Canada in regards to the fix for the vehicle. Once that is approved then the customer settlement needs to be decided. As soon as we have this information we will update our customers once we are able to do so.

We appreciate your feedback regarding the handling of the situation and thank you for your patience while we work on a resolution that is fair to our customers.

If you have any other questions, please do not hesitate to contact us.

Warm regards,

Francesca

Not to be flippant but wonder how many more diesels were sold in US? Based on your collection the dealer would at least have you on speed dial regarding any new info.
