Wheel fitment question

I hope this finds you all doing well. Currently have a 2013 Cayenne Base with the 19" wheels but looking at upgrading to the 20 or 21" wheels set. Both of which are 10 wide all the way around. Will have any issues with this? Basically will the turbo wheels (21 x 10) fit on my cayenne without modification or rubbing issues?

Thanks
Zach

Your important points to consider are the offset and whether the rims are designed to handle the weight/handling of a Cayenne. Cheap knock-off rims are dangerous, be SURE you know what you're getting.

Here's what the manual says:

There's no harm to using factory rims, for sure, other than to your wallet! Various aftermarket folks have made rims that will fit, you'd just want to be diligent in making sure they're genuine and appropriate for the weight/handling of the Cayenne.

Bear in mind your tire costs before making the leap. 21's are often more expensive. There's often less choices available. Then there's the changing in ride comfort and potentially reduced gas mileage. 21's will certainly provide better cornering, but that comes at the cost of a somewhat harsher ride. Wider tires have a larger contact patch and with that comes the potential to negatively impact your fuel consumption. Granted, when driving in a spirited manner you're already hemorrhaging gas consumption, so the added width/weight is not going to make a difference. But if you're at all conscious about your fuel consumption it would be something to consider.

hey guys,

I have a somewhat similar question:

I am looking at purchasing a 958 CTT that has the 21" SportEdition wheels (ET50) with Arch Ext; and want to replaced them with either the 21" Turbo II wheels (ET50?) or one of two different sets of 21" wheels with a 55mm offset and a 45mm offset.

I am pretty confindent the Turbo II wheels will fit exactly the same as the original wheels---but what about the other two: will the ET55 wheels be pushed in too much or be able to clear the calipers? will the ET45 clear the fenders and not cause any rubs?

Anyone with a similar set-up or any expertise on the matter? Any help is greatly appreciated!

Thanks
