Thanx Ronan!

I find it interesting that Porsche has up to this time (in recent years of at least the 2000s) has produced "50 State Cars" as far as emissions controls go - including the Cayennes up to this new refresh.

So it's odd that they would delay shipping to CA & the "CARB States" for the new 2019> Cay redesign.

I wonder if they're going back to the prior CA/CARB & EPA states versions.

If not, & they're just delaying for some issue with them performing up to the CARB standards, then that could prove to be a problem for future used buyers of Cays from the other states, if they didn't meet CARB, but are sold as supposedly compliant.

It's just weird that they're holding them back on delivery if all are made to meet CARB!

Cheers!
Tom

could be VW is a bit gun shy and are trying to stay ahead of any EPA future regs?

No, because the CARB Regs are more strict than EPA, & the non-CARB-States follow EPA & they're releasing those on time apparently per the post above.

It would be that V/P/A is gun shy of CARB & California.

But still - their cars are all supposed to be 50-State cars.

Cheers!
