Bought a new 2016 Porsche Cayenne Diesel.....

Absolutely thrilled with my purchase! Now the 991 C4S has a Porsche stablemate! This is my third diesel, first Porsche Diesel the other two were Touareg V10 and Touareg V6 Executive. The Porsche is much quieter and more refine. Got a great deal at Manhattan Motors, thanks Daniel Sene! You truly are a wonderful friend and Porsche Ambassador! Can’t believe you can get these vehicles for $50k and 6 year warranty/unlimited miles! What a bargain! Bought a set of 20” OEM RS Spyder Matte Black Wheels along with matte black emblems and exhaust tips. Taking it to Greg at Signature Detail to get it wrapped with PPF, paint correction, and ceramic coated. Greg does a great job and clearly meets my high expectations! I’ll post pics once everything is done.

Congrats! I really wanted the 958D for the 700 mile fuel range.
Settled for the 958TT instead.
Was a compromise as the 991TT has an insane price tag.So I kept the 996 Cab and on the hunt for a 997TT.

think base price was $63/64k. Bet it had a few options so maybe $70K. Take away the diesel refund and bosch check and bet the net cost was closer to $60K. Guess diesels hold their value.

after the fix they are not the same SUV mine makes more noise and also it does not have the same torque but if the sticker was $70k discounted to $60k and less the $10k from Porsche & Bosch its a great deal

but the question is, you buy the 16' they already come with the fix, who claims the money ? or is it the other way.

Dealer fix the car, they sell for $60k and make $10k on kick back from the fix? so its a win for Stealer

Bet the dealer hosed the original owner fir the trade in and the buying of the next car. Then took advantage of the buyer of this cayenne. In other words the dealer usually wins all around.

My Cayenne was never titled, it was used by the dealership General Manager. I’m sure the dealership got $$$ from Porsche so they broke even and I won by getting a cherry Cayenne with minimal miles.

unless you get a 10k discount and then the 10k from Porsche thats a good deal, for a vehicle with a Fix that its more noisy and doesn't have the same torque as before

I would say thats a very good deal, I would think in trade mine if I was receiving a deal like yours but my dealer is selling preowned 16' Diesels with 9k discount from the sticker price, Im not sure if they already collected the Porsche money or what the deal is there, but they all have 4k miles on them average they are $62k to $72k "demos"

Yes, I saw those numbers also. Keep in mind that these vehicles are sitting on the lots collecting a lot of dust on top of the dust they already have. Be aggressive and they will move that price. My Cayenne had 10k miles and it’s a 2016 with a MSRP of $78k.

I’m sure they are, just beat them down.
Thanks for the compliment, I finished everything outside today with the wheels and PPF/Coating/Paint Correction work along with the blacked out emblems. Inside is next! Putting OEM Carbon Fiber Trim in.
