2011 958 s

Hi all,
I am probably beating a dead horse as I’m sure it’s been discussed and I have read the other threads, but still want to ask for myself. I had a 958 about a year ago, fully loaded but with the base V6. Due to the lack of speed I moved back to a BMW X5 50i and have loved it, but after $20k of warranty work, I want to move back to a Cayenne S. I found my perfect car, a black sapphire metallic with black interior, Drive and Go, Heated/Ventlated seats, LCA, pano roof and much more. It’s a one owner with lots of records but my issue is, there is 105,000 miles. It’s going for about $24k which I think is fair and is coming for a PCar dealer. The recalls have been done. Am I making a mistake in buying a high mileage S or should I be ok with a good PPI? Thanks!

I suspect all recalls include cam bolts and transfer case?

If checks out fine with a through independent PPI, you really enjoy the SUV, including color combo. I would go for it. 105K sounds like lots of miles, but if well taken care of with one owner and thick history, I'm OK.

If dealer approves, maybe try calling the one owner and get better understanding of history, if he/she is straightforward.

I 2nd everything Joseph stated,If you can step up to a turbo you wont look back they don't seem to be exempt for deprecation like the 911 turbos.
I picked up a 2011 958TT last year with well over 100k from the original owner just over $25K,
the options you listed are great ones to have.

In most cases a Carfax will reveal the service and ownership history report. Or make a free mycarfax.com account and punch in the VIN or plate number. If the service history was reported it's there for any car.
Jay.

They are great cars, but I caution you against buying one with that many miles without a warranty. The repair costs could really add up.
