I have been looking but can't seem to find this DIY. Anyone who has taken the front seats out please chime in. I also have the entry drive feature and heard that may be an issue.

 

There is a really good thread on Rennlist which takes you through the step by step of battery replacement - The first steps of which is removing the seats:

To summarize, there are 4 plastic covers on the seat rails which need to be removed and underneath them are size 10 triple square bolts.
Remove the 4 bolts and the wiring harnesses that connect to the seat and that's pretty much it...
