Any reason to go with one vs the other? I have the option to buy either. Similar miles and price.
Looking specifically from a reliability standpoint. I already know the specifications for both and I guess you could argue the "S" is more special?
Is the 4.8 with direct injection more reliable Vs the 4.5? Any major changes in the gearbox? Are coolant lines still an issue with the 4.8? Things like that.

The 06 Turbo S is more rare, will have more issues and cost more to own.

The 08 Turbo has the same power and less issues. Coolant line issue was resolved.

Having owned a 955 Turbo for a while, go for the 957 Turbo. It's a much improved vehicle.

 

I agree 100%. I had an 05 CTT and it was a maintenance nightmare and lived in the shop.

My 08 CTT was a dream to own and drive and was problem free. Man I miss that suv!
