The only negative is the lack of tips. I had 2 different muffler shops comment on the good quality without me asking when I was trying to find 3" tips. Still looking for tips.

Thanks. I was waiting on the exhaust shop to get back with me, but if he has to fabricate the pipe from the tubes to the tips I could bring them to him.

I found a guy in Houston that does methanol injections installations and also builds motors for VW and Audi. Once I get the downpipes installed, I will get the methanol kit installed. Then talk to him about building the motor.

 

Yeah, it sucks that nobody except HHR makes a 3" system. Then it really sucks when you get the 3" system from HHR and find out no one makes 3" tips. I followed Kens build after I picked up this CTT and tried to get mine as close as possible. Unless your just looking to make some noise it's really pointless to put a 3" system in with 2.5" tips. When I head back down with some time I will order the evoms intakes and tune to get a better tune. I might even throw the meth kit on it.

 

Billy Boat makes a 3" system too but I'm not sure if they do the primary bypass pipes. I do know they have a 3" system from secondary bypass back. They also make 3" tips but I'm not sure how they'd mate up to your system?

Got the HHR downpipes. Now I finally have 3" from turbo back. Not much time to play yet to see the difference. Next step is Meth/water injection I believe.
