Advice for potential Cayenne buyer
Looking to buy a cayenne its or turbo- was looking at newer ones around 20-30k miles, however i'm simply too cheap to shell out 80k. - the 8k in tax is driving me nuts.
through research i figured out that the 40k mile ones seem to be great value, so really have been on that price/ mileage range.
This week, a dealer that i know called me with a trade in.
MD owned, One owner, 2011 Cayenne turbo- around 123k sticker. I have to say t looks incredibly well maintained and in great shape- carfax and everything checks out.
that being said, this car has 117k miles. He is asking 29,000. offered me 25. I'd like to offer 24.
i do about 15k miles per year, and have a 16 m3 on lease that i'll soon get rid of.
Any thoughts? carf

The first thing to look out for is the transfer case if it is a all wheel drive turbo, it’s a sound like a poping, sort of out of tune between 12 mph and 20, specially when turning, it sort of skips gear, that is a problem in all of them after 65,000 miles, some 70,000, it might seem normal, but it can leave you stranded.
The rear air conditioning sometimes stay stuck in high, and also check the rotors, some pads are cheaply made and eat the rotors at high speed, recommend the drilled ones, that’s all that I have seen with the Bi turbo model 958 cayenne other than that a great car. Try to get a turbo in 70,000 mile range, good luck,,

I had a 2013 CTT I bought new and when I sold it last year it had over 110K on it.
Things will wear out which is expected at this mileage and once replaced, it will be good for another 100k.
I had the fuel pump regulator replaced, and had the front diff replaced at 100k. She ran strong, never gave me issues and was a blast to drive.
