2013 Cayenne best model yet?

the 2013 cayenne model has bumped things up to 420 hp from a naturally aspirated V8 engine! It has even added a few new advanced features! But my question is is this model the best of the Cayenne series? What do you think?

I am not sure what you mean by the "best model". The top dog without question is the turbo but you got to pay to play for that. My CS may not be exhilarating as a turbo but for my needs (which is to haul family/costco runs etc) I feel it is plenty fast and I love the linear power curve of a NA engine. I can only imagine that the GTS will be even better. The V6 has its own niche market and is not a slouch by any means. If spec'd properly it in fact is the bargain high performance SUV compared to all the MDX's and Touregs out there. One of the cayenne faithfuls (Jace) had a first gen GTS and now has a 958 gen TT. He will chime in soon.

More specifically I was speaking on the suv models. I know that there is the new Macan coming out in 2014 but that's not the current cayenne. The '12' model was a big improvement, but now the latest '13' model has even more improvement compared to the '12' model. I think that this model is far better than all of the previous models in regards to interior, exterior, fuel intake, engine performance, and technology inside.

What changes will '13 have over '12?

There are no significant changes from 12 to 13. There is no power bump in any of the models. The GTS is new to 13 and has 420hps but that isn't a "bump" since there was no 12 GTS model. Not sure what the reference is to of 13 being the best since 13 is pretty much identical to 12.

Even the 11 is very similar to 12, with some minor changes in cabin (like clock, lock buttons, etc).

If you want to chase the best model, you will never find one. Because the next year will always be better then current year.
