Car comparison, which one to buy ?

Hi, im looking to add a car to the stable, but don't know which car to choose the porsche cayenne s or mercedes s500, before you say anything, i know two different car categories, purpose..etc. But if you were in my shoes which one would you go with? My big concerns are Safety, comfort and reliability, thanks.

Both are good cars, but not knowing what years both are I would have to say that you can utilize the Cayenne S more especially if you have a family or if you have a boat/waverunner (4-wheel drive, room, cargo, roof rack, big heavy car=very safe) . Mercedes S500 are great cars as well, but if I had to make a choice I would go with the Cayenne.

I went to the Porsche dealership, they were nice enough to give me a Cayenne for a whole day, and it's a great car. The sad thing is if i order one they said it will take 6 up to 8 months for the car to arrive. Thats a long time to wait for any car. Now for the merc S whats bothering me that the car will be updated and a new model will arrive in a couple of months. So looks like ill look into an ML, but i would really go for the Cayenne if time wasn't a factor.

I recently went to my local dealer in south Florida (Champion Porsche), and they have quite a few Cayenne's in stock, you should give them a call or stop by if you are not far from Pompano Beach, Florida. If you do decide to go with a Mercedes did you look at the GL? Just a thought, (I personally like it more than the ML).

If you are that concerned with the time, why not buy from the one of the many available in the dealer network around the country? Shipping a car takes days
