Leather Treatment Dash & Seats?

I have read some parts around here about avoiding any treatment to the leather on the dash, only use a damp cloth to clean the dash...and use leatherique on the seats.

What is the >modern< consensus when it comes to cleaning and preserving the dash and seats from cracking? Especially in hot blistering climates....

1. Dash Board Cleaning and Treatment (I'm assuming all Cayenne's have leather dash?)

2. Leather Seats cleaning and treatment?

I use Lexol on all of the interior leather except the alacantra pieces. The thing that I dont like about the preservative is that it does leave a residue that will attract dirt over time. I am getting ready to try the Zaino leather in a bottle for the conditioning process.
When you clean just use a soft natural bristle brush and the lexol with maybe some filtered water. My CTT is a 2004 and I have owned it for almost three years. I get it very dirty all the time and clean it often. My leather looks and feels awesome!
