New Cayenne S ordered!!

So I had gone back and forth about a new kid friendly but fun transport vehicle for the family and especially for my wife who has been driving a minivan for the past 4 years. Had looked at BMW 5 series, Lexus GS, and others. While all were good cars, nothing had the feel that the Cayenne S had. It's funny I had pointed them out to my wife before and even brought back catalogs... it wasn't until she noticed one in a cool color in the wild that she got the bug. Go figure.

Anyways... here's the order :

  • Meteor Grey Metallic Paint
  • Panorama Roof System
  • 19 inch Cayenne Turbo Wheels
  • Wheel Hub Covers with Colored Crest
  • Online Services
  • Voice Control
  • Trailer Hitch without Hitch Ball
  • Aluminum Roof Rails with Moldings
  • Bose Audio Package - which includes:
    • SiriusXM Satellite Radio Tuner
    • 6 Disc CD/DVD Changer
    • Bose Surround Sound System
  • Premium Package Plus - which includes:
    • 14 Way Power Seats with Memory
    • Heated Front and Rear Seats
    • ParkAssist Front and Rear with Rearview Camera
    • Electric Roll-Up Sunblinds for Rear Door Windows
    • Automatically Dimming Interior and Exterior Mirrors
    • Heated 3 Spoke Multifunction Steering Wheel
    • Front Seat Ventilation
    • 12 Volt Outlet in Rear Center Console
    • PCM with Navigation Module
    • Lane Change Assist
    • PASM Air Suspension with Self Leveling and Height Adjustment
    • Bi-Xenon Headlights with PDLS
    • Dimmable Interior LED Lighting
Debating full versus partial clear bra and what type of tint. Wish it had the exterior package painted in black, but otherwise the car is coming as I would like. I suppose it could be wrapped. Honestly the car looks sharp either way and my wife doesn't care. Was a warm enough day here in Northern California... the ventilated seats really worked.

Sorry if this is posted in the wrong forum. Maybe should be in the 958 forum?

Grats! You can just wrap the main parts on the front of the car (I.E. mirrors, hood, bumper) to minimize rock chips and such. Post pics when you can

That's a great build! Any reason why you didn't get the 18 way seats?

I thought about it but my wife thought it wasn't needed. Then the dealer told me that the car was in preproduction so no more changes. Oh well... I don't have to obsess about anything I might have added like full leather, PSE, 18 way seats, exterior trim in black. The dealer stated that they've been pretty much staying away from full leather as it adds a lot to the price. Most of their Cayenne customers are not opting for it. Interesting.

I have 1,700 miles on new Cayenne S, equipped very similar to yours. It's a great car. You're gonna love it.

The 18 way seats are very sporty. My wife found them quire uncomfortable due to the aggressive side bolsters in seat and back. You're probably better off in the 14 way seats of the premium plus package

Thanks for the heads up. Can't wait for it to arrive and to post some pics. It would be something to walk into a dealer one of these days and for them to have something optioned how I like right off the bat! Probably never happen. The worst part is the wait.
