Before I get into removing the headlight assembly, can anyone tell me if the cornering and marker lights work off the same bulb? I'm getting an alert ! on my dash saying "check right cornering light."

Both the side marker lens as well as the lens in the wheel well light up when the lights come on. But I don't notice the cornering light coming on anymore when I make a turn. I thought it was all one bulb?

The side markers do not blink when the turn signal is on. The "cornering lights" are in the headlight assemblies. They are H3 bulbs, and light up when the wheel is turned.

 

Ah, silly me, in the 6 months I've had this Cayenne I always thought it was the side marker lights that were lighting up in the turn . I see now the side angled lights in the headlight assembly...thanks!
