These are so rare that I doubt you will get much traction. If you can find any upgraded intercoolers for less than full retail, I would say that is a good deal. If you want to make power, you have to pay to play.

yeah I figured as much, Iv just come across a set of used intercoolers only for 900$. But Im not sure if Im ready to make the jump. So I was wondering if I pull the trigger and decided not to go for big power if I could get my money back.

I think there is market of 955 CTT owners looking to upgrade intercoolers. However, you may end up sitting on them a while if you change your mind.

Renaissance.Man,

I have a 2009 CTT, are there better OE intercoolers than the ones I currently have on? Perhaps the TTS? Which ones are you running?

No, the 957 CTT and CTTS have the best intercoolers available for the 1st gen Cayennes. Both the 957 CTT and CTTS have the same intercooler part numbers (with 100% aluminum build and end caps).

I am running the stock 957 CTT intercoolers since I have not experienced any appreciable heat soak on my last dyno or at the track. On top on that, I now have methanol injection, so it lowers my intake air temps (IAT) by 15-20 degrees.
