Just a heads up for guys installing pipes on a 957... I bought the mentioned 13mm special half moon wrenches only to find out they are 12mm. Maybe the 955 models have 13mm?
Didn't matter anyways as all my bolts busted when trying to remove them. FYI my Cayenne has 40K on it and spent its life in Cali. Unless you have super low miles expect the bolts to break. I took a dremel to the nut side and cut the bolts in half. It took 5 hours total on the garage floor and my neck is killing me! A lift is highly recommended!

I did the same thing and bought the 13mm tools only to find out the 955 is 12mm when I attempted my install yesterday. The bolts that came with my new secondary pipes are 13mm though.
I ended up using the extensions and u-joint method of reaching the top bolts from the engine bay and tightened it until it break off. Much easier for me.

The half moon will not work to remove the original secondary pipes.
There is a lip that prevents the tool from connecting.
The half moon ratchet does work well during other aspects of the removal/install.
Use a socket set with long extension and two universal joints to reach the nuts.
Works really well...
I installed Fabspeed bypass pipes nearly effortlessly and documented below my signature if your curious.

SeattleTurbo and Dgreen78 if either of you would be of any help I would greatly appreciate some assistance? Some cases of beer or something to entice you to physically help me out? I got easiest nut off the drivers side, broke off the second easiest nut and the last one closest to the car body I gave up on trying to break the nut off.
Then I looked at the passenger side and threw the towel when the front drive shaft was in the way...if you could help me with your experience I would be very grateful.
Last resort is to take the CTT to a muffler shop but just wondering how they would do it as well without damaging the drive shaft?

SeattleTurbo, your approach was brilliant and highly recommended. I went to Lowes last night and bought two 20" socket extensions and made it work. I did snap a u-joint during the process. I also snapped off but 2 of 6 nuts. I was trying to unbolt and they snapped off anyways even after apply several sprays of PB Blaster.
The top approach the in picture is definitely the way to go.
I was worried that the secondary bypass pipes were going to make my turbo loud from the youtube videos I could gather. I took the turbo out for a quick spin tonight and it doesn't seem like there was a sound change one bit...they still sound stock under acceleration....hmmm. Almost sounds like I didn't even put the 2ndary bypass pipes on. See if driving around tomorrow will make they create a little more sound?

Awesome Im glad you got it done!! I noticed an immediate difference in sound on mine at idle on cold start and when driving with the windows down somewhat aggressively. Normal driving seems to sound the same except for a little more turbo noise.

Maybe my turbo is clogged up. I would be curious to hear yours

I broke my driveshaft cardan yesterday playing around trying to work on launching the Cayenne (was planning to take it to dragstrip this weekend), but I should have that fixed in a few days. If you want to meet up and compare sounds after that we can plan something out

Count me in too if I can make it. I'm still not really happy with the sound of mine even with the secondary delete pipes. I'm thinking of doing the primary too but I don't want a daily driver that stinks too bad.
Im leaning towards doing the primary deletes as well, just worried about the install process on them. Ive been told its very difficult to do with the engine in the car.

Yeah I can't imagine they are easy. Kent should know some tricks though, he's done them at least once if not more than that.
