Recommendation for soft socket for alloy wheels
Recommendation for soft socket for alloy wheels
Can someone recommend a soft socket for lug bolts? I found a couple (see links below), but the automotion one says its incompatible with a Cayenne, which I find odd since its 19mm.

I bought a set I think from Harbor freight a long time ago to use on my other car. They were all the wrong size though. I was going to donate or give them away a long time ago but somehow never did. Et Voila one of them just happened to fit the Cayenne.
But to answer your question here is one...http://smile.amazon.com/Wilmar-Perfo...el+bolt+socket

Hey HOiYA, this is what i purchased about a year ago from ECS.
They work well - and i have no complaints.
If i bought again, i would get the extended version, just to ensure the torque wrench stays far enough away from the wheel wells.
I think you linked the extended Schwaben's i would recommend.

Thanks everyone for your feedback. I ended up ordering the extended ones from ECS. wanted to make sure I didn't mark up the Tikore bolts or my new wheels.
Happy New Year everyone!

Just make sure the plastic covers are clean and you should be fine.
