Rock Sliders - 958 TDI
Rock Sliders - 958 TDI
Rock Sliders will probably need custom fabrication. Does anyone have a design or know of a source? We already have a full bush bar and skid plates front to rear. Mainly interested in seeing a design someone has used.
Also suggestions for an external HAM radio antenna & mount, cell phones are useless where we go.

Hey,
That's awesome the TDI is seeing some dirt!! I would be interested in seeing more of your setup of the full bush bar and skid plates front and rear. As far as rock sliders, that should not be that hard. It really depends on how much protection you want (how far off the trail you go).
Rogue engineering created a one off for the 958 if you want to google them. However, searching for Touaregs would lead to greater results (Cayenne/Touareg/Q7 are pretty much the same vehicle). Pro speed created an expedition vehicle from a Touareg with some decent off road accessories and although an older Touareg, this build is pretty awesome!! Good luck!

We have done a lot to and with our Cayenne diesel since originally posting.
One thing we will not do is the diesel 'fix'
We do have sliders, roll bar, winch that can be stabbed in front or behind
Plus many off-road trips like going north of the Arctic Circle in winter - only went down to -36F
.
