New To Porche

Ill be buying a 08 or newer cayenne turbo s. Mostly for the wife and kids, however i would like to be able to have fun in it when i want. Just curious on what kind of power people are getting out of these. Can they be made to go much faster than they are? Im sure ecu tune and exhaust and such. Just would like to know if anyone on here has really pushed the hp up on the cayenne's.

Eh man, there are some expensive maintenance items to consider for the Turbo S, investigate brake pad and rotor replacement! Do you need that level of performance for your wife and child? You mentioned that you may even want more.....do you have advanced driving certifications? Where are you going to pour all this performance out? There is a lot of value for 2008's and 2009's, I own a 08M S and love it! Sure I wish it was a turbo with GTS gearing but I make it work for my application.

If I had the provisions to own the Turbo S I would, so at the end of the day DO IT! You can pay for it later.

You will love this vehicle because it will be your hauler, boat or trailer, it will be your vehicle to go back and forth to the coast...and lastly it will be your sports vehicle to go drill in the adrenaline! If it's not enough learn to ride a bike! Now...that will make you appreciate being alive!

Dude, spend 2k on some advanced driver training and you will find all the performance out of your Cayenne that you need!!!

Thats my two cents and I do wish you a Merry Christmas!

Secondary Catbypass Pipes are good for a 20-30whp gain, and Sport Catalytic Converters will net you 15-20whp. No check engine light. An overwhelming percentage of our in-house installs are our catalytic converter deletes for Cayennes. You can definitely notice the difference, and the slight increase in sound is not overbearing at all.

You can extract even more with a tune, over 50whp.

A Turbo S sounds like more for you than your wife and kids...just saying. With Porsche you have to pay to play, so something to think about if this is going to be a mommy-mobile. I just bought my wife a Cayenne S e-hybrid and it seems to be the perfect vehicle for her...and me when she allows me to drive it. Think about maintenance...everything is more expensive with higher performance.
