So I bought a 2005 Cayenne S..... well bought is a strong word, they just wanted it out if their driveway. The original idea was not this but the girlfriend saw it and fell in love,,, now I gotta fix this thing,,, a different one won't do.


Fires on starter fluid but won't run. Compression is good, spark plugs look normal, no water or fuel in the oil, no oil in the coolant.


Now for the weird; cooling fan pulls hard as soon as you click the key on (think P51D on take off), can't hear the fuel pumps kick on, key fob buttons work at random (new keys are already ordered), displays an air suspension fault and a coolant level fault, wire to the amp/sub is corroded. And a constant draw on the battery, I know on a computerized car with security systems there will be a constant draw but I think it should last more than 48 hours.


Previous owner replaced 2 fuel pumps, battery, alternator, ecm, and a handful of fuses. And putting the interior back together (previous owner was going to part it out) I found a repair recipe from a VW dealer to replace a main power relay 15, milage on the recipe was 300 miles ago.


I think I'm looking for a short, if you have a better idea please tell me. But in the meantime does anyone know where to come up with service manuals and wiring diagrams for this?
