My 2014 Cayenne GTS has a tiny leak that looks to be coming from one or both pipes underneath the engine (apparently there are some rubber or plastic parts which may have deteriorated. I was made aware of the leak when the sensor came on, but when I checked the coolant level there appeared to be plenty of coolant. There was no visible coolant leaking beneath the vehicle(, which I checked for each time the message came on.
Has anyone successfully used a coolant fix kit without otherwise causing damage to their Cayenne? I normally wouldn't consider doing this but it was suggested to me by someone and I wanted to get verification from anyone else who has tried doing this. If so, which coolant fix kit is the best option for my vehicle? is there an OEM kit? I haven't been able to find one but figured it wouldn't hurt to ask. An estimate to access and replace both pipes is approximately $2,000.
Thanks for any helpful feedback.
