coolant pipes

Have a 04 cayenne s with 78k
Car started leaking coolant and I'm expecting this to be the beginning of plastic coolant pipes bursting.
Where can I find "upgrade kit" cheapest and how much should I expect to pay in labor?

Thanks

U can search threads. There is so many posts on this already.

You can expect to pay $1800-2200 at an Indy. The ones I called where not at all interested in byo coolant pipes.

some indy quote me from $500 to $700 labor if I supply the parts. I ordered them from suncoast. does the labor part sounds reasonable?

Sounds awfully cheap, but dunno where you're from. I think estimating 10 hours labor is about right - so how much does he charge an hour? If he's done the job already and mebbe came up with some tricks to getting the old pipes out, he can likely do it in less time.

I am from Toronto area. I got couple of quotes from the shops that were highly recommended on the forum. And they all claim that the job is common and will take around 7 hrs.

I can see where if you're experienced in a job - the time required drops.. so sounds like a good price.

Regarding the labor quote you got, I'm taking my 05 CTT in to a recommended Denver indy this evening...They quoted 550 for the parts and 825 for labor, estimated 7-8 hrs. Sounds pretty close to the job time you are looking at for experienced techs.

The price seems to be pretty good.

I've paid ~$450 on parts so far, still need to get 2gal of coolant and grease.
