Cayenne 9PA-2007 - Removing the center console
Hello to the forum,
I have a Cayenne, 9PA, 3.6L, year of manufacture 2007.
The engine is making strange noises and seems sluggish.
I've been searching for 2 years and even 2 Porsche workshops couldn't find anything.
There are no error entries.
If the Cayenne is parked in the sun for an hour and the interior heats up, the problem disappears.
The noise is gone and the engine runs much more smoothly.
I now suspect the PSM and wanted to try turning it off.
However, it can no longer be switched off using the button; this used to be possible.
I suspect the PSM is malfunctioning; a sensor or the control unit has a problem, and it works correctly again above a certain temperature.
Durametric cannot access the control unit.
I'm looking for the control unit or yaw rate sensor; I suspect the parts are located under the center console.
Can someone tell me how to remove the center console and where the screws are located?
Regards, Peter
