NYE at Plush

Chicago 6Speeder's,

Can any one give any advice on the club/lounge called Plush?

I will be comming up for NYE and we have made reservations there and being from out of town I wondered what the locals might think of the place.

Do you have a better suggestion for NYE?

Plush has a $100 cover, that includes table service and an open "premium" bar. I figure the open bar will probably be a let down but oh well.

Take care,
Wilson

Well if any one care... Here is my review.

So-So.

The place was very nice looking and the atmosphere was very laid back, the vast majority of patrons were under 25. (I am 29, the young one in my group of 30-35 year olds)

The place would be great if your group wanted a place to chill after a game or what not.

The back half of the club is all couches and tables. We had the back half of the club to ourselves (4 seperate tables).

The service was OK, It could have been much better but the place was just a little busy.

The crowd consisted of primarily of patrons of Indian descent, well I am not very good with determining races from just outward appearances, but since everyone was drinking I do not think they were muslim. Either way it made for a great night, as I have not seen so many beautiful dark skinned women.

I live in Kentucky, we do not have much diversity so I liked it.

The open bar turned out to be pretty good, never wanted for a drink and did not wake up with the bottle of rubbing alcohol vodka hangover that we all know and love from College.

So, I give Plush a 7/10. Can go higher, but it is what you make of your time there.

Take care,
Wilson

Was just there before Cirque du Soleil this last weekend. I feel the same way as Duke - nice place, pretty fun, laid back, but no stong feelings either way. Its close the United Center, so that was what made us want to check it out. Drinks and food were good, but just like I said, it wasn't like anything really stood out to me. Couches were comfy tho!

Rockit is fine if you like college rock music and annoying high-fiving white guys..

Try Victor hotel on a saturday night.. (not a hotel) Nice scene, beautiful women and good lounge dance music.
