Good spot for a Sat photoshoot?

Cooper and I were going to go out and grab some pics this afternoon. Anyone got any recommendations for some killer spots to grab some pics of a blacked out car?

I know there is a pull off as you crest a hill just before you get to Boulder on HWY 36 with a panoramic view of the Rocky Mountains. I used to see car shoots all the time when I drove out there to work. You will know it when you see it! Its a great backdrop for just about any shot really.

Hope it helps.

I wanted to do a photoshoot there for a long time but haven't been able to.

Yeah I like that spot too but what sucks is that Id have to drive down to superior and then flip around to get to it. I've got a good place for mountain backgrounds though. I like to find some different stuff.

Try to keep it in a very uncluttered location to avoid a mess of reflection in the paint. Also if you don't all ready, I'd get a CP filter. I loath shooting black cars.

That's how you guys do it! See I keep getting up for these meets at 8am after going to sleep at like 2 or 3. Cars and Coffee meets are killer for me.

Autocross days are the same way...those dudes are up at dawn or earlier. Savages :-)

the main reason for going early is to avoid traffic. Every ride done in the afternoon has had lots of traffic.

as for places for a photo shoot, have you tried red rocks amphitheater? or Garden of the gods - kinda far, but should work. The other possibility is Roxborough park area closer and great views
