4/20 at CU
Well, seeing as this will be my last spring semester at CU, I figured I would make my way to the field for 4/20 this year to take some photos. There were an estimated 15,000 people in attendance this year. We asked the cops what they thought about it and they said as long as people don't get rowdy, nobody would be ticketed or arrested. Its a pretty ridiculous sight even from a non smokers perspective. Here are some photos...

Sickening only because of the city and it's leftist views. If it's a law, it should be enforced, regardless of the number of people involved.
I imagine that if 15,000 people stood there peacefully holding any kind of firearm at all, that police would be enforcing the laws in full SWAT gear.

My point is, the police commented on the news that they didn't do anything because of the sheer number of people in violation of the law. Which, would easily be proven wrong if 15,000 were doing something that isn't quite as left wing friendly.
When I myself was in school I went to visit my friends at CU for 4/20, it really is quite a sight. As far as the whole 'left wing friendly' comment seen above, give me a brake, they were not hurting anything or anybody. I can't smoke right now b/c of my job, but if I were there and the cops were looking the other way, I would most definitely indulge. LEGALIZE IT!!!
