Rejex question

Today I did my second application of Rejex,

I have been happy with the durability of the product, but the luster left over is not that great.

Both times I have used this product on my basalt black 987 it is almost like there is a smokey haze left over. Not scratches, just hazy.

I am applying with a microfiber applicator and removing by hand with microfiber.

Any suggestions?

I have a black 997S and have not experianced this issue. I apply by hand with a micros fiber applicator let it dry and wipe off with a big thick microfiber towel.

If you're getting hazing, most likely rejex is having an adverse reaction with whatever wax you had before. Have you clayed and polished the car? What ambient temp and conditions are you applying rejex?

Last time (4 months ago) I did a complete clay, this time I only clayed the front bumper and the doors and lower section of the front fenders. So no prior wax should be on the car.

Car was washed and cleaned in the garage, started at 7:00 am outside temp roughly 34-45 and inside 65-70. Only had the garage door open once or twice.

Could it have been due to humidty in the garage from washing the car in the garage?

The humidity and the cold will have played a major role. Try washing the car again, waiting for the garage to dry out, then wiping the finish with a detailer-type spray wax.
