I cant see anything wrong with the finish of your paint protection film, other then the little "milky" looking mark like a dryed running down solution. Pics 9-10-11

Yeah is is hard to tell from the pics. I will have to clean it and take pics on a sunny day. The milky looking mark is what was caused by the alcohol. That is one of the things that I want to get rid of.

From what I can see, you can use zymol HD Clenase by hand and/or Menzerna Final Polish. No need for a rotary as it should only be used by a professional.

Doesn't look bad

It looks fine, but as a Pcar owner you know it's there and you demand perfection.

So here is the story. I decided to get a clear bra on my Cayenne. It did good for about 2 weeks. One day I decided to wash it. Of course, since it was on the front of the car I had bug stains on it. After a little hard scrubbing it came off. That is when the first problem started. I realized that there were scratches on the actual clear bra. Apparently I had rubbed it too hard. So, I quickly go into the house and get on Google for a solution. I read somewhere that I can put alcohol on it to fix scratches. The article states that is will discolor but do not worry. Once it dries it will clear up. Big mistake. Then I have this spot on the hood that is discolored. So I have tried to fix this by using some over the counter plastic polishers. This has done nothing but make a bad situation worse. Now you can tell where I have been trying to rub the plastic because it is not as shiny as the rest of the clear bra.

Is there anything that I can do to restore the natural luster of the clear bra? Any suggested products? Any help would be appreciated.
Just drive the car and stop worrying too much over scratched plastic. Remember its not your paint thats scratched its the clear stone bra...its what its designed to do....next you will put a clear bra over the original to keep it in good shape...lol

Well,

I guess since wax is on the car I shouldn't worry about washing it either.

My hood clear bra is a bit dull and scratched up too. Should I apply 85rd by hand, or with a Porter Cable and white finishing pad?

Yeah, is it ok to use a PC on the film? White pad with polish?

Yes and yes. pc with 85rd will be fine. I would try either the white, or blue pads. Nothing stronger than white.

Whats the best way to keep the clear bra nice. I see that some recommend the hd cleanse/menzerna/Plexus with Swisswax on top. Some other places I have read that wax makes the clear bra yellow. What should I belive?
