Issue with a Scratch

I have a scratch in my silver 996 TT S. It is below the clear coat, but not to the metal.

I was wondering, short of taking it to a body shop to work it out, what can I do to mask, if not rid my car of the scratch.

I thank you for your input in advance.

Your best bet is just to polish the scratch. If you try to touch-up the scratch, silver will NEVER match.

A photo would help... polishing would make it look better, but if it's through the clearcoat, you're looking at possibly damaging the cc in that spot and it could potentially spread from that spot... the way I see it, you can either just polish it good to reduce the size visually, and live with what's left, or try and fill it with touch-up cc slowly until it gets even with the cc around the scratch, then wet sand lightly and polish the area... I've fixed a few deeper scratches and rock chips this way on my old BMW, but it does take time, patience and some know-how

Your best bet is to polish it and see what happens. If the scratch is below the clearcoat, you're pretty much in need of a repaint if you want it to look perfect. Polishing will minimize the scratch, but it won't make it go away. Pics would help...
