Few Questions for the detailing masters...

1) Is P21S wheel cleaner a safe bet for forged and clear coated wheels? I know a lot of cleaners claim to be "non-abrasive" but end up hazing the finish on wheels regardless. I have heard good things about this product, wondering if I could get any confirmation on it being safe enough?

2) I have light leather in my car that is in need of some TLC, any leather cleaners anyone can recommend? I saw the Zaino Z9/Z10 thread and that seems like a good option. I use Zaino on my paint as I enjoy the finish and the longevity it gives, one day I'll try some of the better stuff, for now Zaino works. So in that regard, I will definitely get some Z10 to condition, but I was wondering if there was any other better cleaners than Z9 or if that is worth going with in combination with Z10?

Thanks for your help in advance. Will be sure to throw up some pics following a detail sometime here...

P21S Wheel Cleaner, not the gel, is safe and gentle on most wheels. I like it very much. If you need something that is even more gentle, yet effective, use zymol wheel cleaner. It's pH balanced and is natural. No fear of it damaging wheel and I've been using it since 1999.

As for the leather, simple 2-part process that works like a charm and is safe on most, if not all, leather types. Clean with Autoglym Interior Cleaner and condition using zymol treat or einszett Leather Conditioner. Both are excellent products that will further clean and protect the leather.

Thanks Moe, a couple questions back at you though...

1) The P21S gel a harsher product I assume and thus probably a bad idea for the wheels? My wheels for the most part are clean but have a few nooks and grooves where I feel the brake dust/grime is a bit caked on and some sporadic spotting on some of the spokes where it looks like the grime is for lack of a better word, "fused" to the finish.
Regular soap and water didn't take care of it on a quick wash and I figured I need something a bit more powerful to do the job.

2) I looked on your site and all I could find was Zymol leather conditioner, not 'Treat', Autoglym interior cleaner or the einzett conditioner. Am I missing something or do I not know how to surf the internet correctly anymore?

1. P21S isn't harsh by any means, but I feel it's too aggressive for the wheels that are already in great shape and just need basic cleaning. For this reason, I recommend interchanging the zymol and the p21s. The zymol is gentle to be used weekly, and the p21s is great for the monthly wash. If you have brake dust already bonded to the wheels, you need to clay them off. If you have discoloration on aluminum or polished wheels, you need to polish them with a gentle product like zymol Metall.

2. You aren't doing anything wrong surfing Our current site is a bit outdated. Updates are being done and most of the products will be live soon. In the meantime, please feel free to call, email, or PM your questions.
