Safe way to remove wax?

what's the best way to remove wax? We're gonna Rejex the GT2 and i'd like to have all the wax off first. I have heard normal soap can damage the paint. Is this true or can i just break out the Dawn?

Dawn dishwashing liquid will remove any old wax.

If you want to do it right check these guys out www.swissol.com

I have a Polar Silver TT and it comes out awesome with this stuff, it is expensive but hey, so is your car, only the best for the best.

I would typically go with Dawn as well, but if you are in the mood for something new i believe the NXT car wash has some wax striping capabilities. Check out autopia.

Just use Dawn. I would not want it for regular use, but it is perfect for stripping wax. A clay bar will work too. In fact, do both for best results.

Dawn, clay, and a precleanser are your best bets. Most sealants come with a cleaning solution to use before applying, I am assuming this is not that case with ReJex. Hope this helps.

nope, car washes were designed to the wax stays on. A good claying should strip the wax. Most pro detailers try to steer you away from using dawn but once in awhile should be ok.

I usually use dawn first (remove wax), then clay (remove any excess wax and contaminants), then wash again w/ mothers/meguiars, then s100 sepc, and finish it off by waxing w/ nxt (can top it off w/ s100 the next day for a little added carnuba touch )
