There are certain areas doesn't want to be polish because some areas are use for displaying comparison side by side, but really, most edges and panel curves have thin coat of paints and clear, which can't be polish. If these areas bad areas then it can cause cracks, chips, and etc... Worse, expose down to primer coat.
