I know a guy in Detroit. He goes to grand Rapids quite a bit to ride his bike on the track over there. You can check him out on Danase.com

If you're up to the task, jump on board and detail your own car. There's a lot of great info here and many are learning that detailing their own car is a rewarding and fun experience.

Thanks!!!........but........

I've actually been "lurking" here and at Autopia for almost a year.....I used to think I "detailed" my own cars....and everyone who knows me always compliments how clean my cars are....end parking spot to avoid door dings, kept spotless inside and out....but after reading all the stuff I'm NOT doing....sheesh!!! too much work!!! I'm a hand wash with microfibre mitt, shami, hand wax (wax on, wax off....just like karate kid!!!!) kind of guy....throw some shine on the tires, and call it good.....with 5 cars to keep up, that's enough!!! I just need a once or twice a year visit to a pro....to really clean the interior, the engine compartment, etc.....I do pretty good at maintaining after that!!!
