Cleaning Porsche Engine Bay...

how do i go about cleaning my 996 Engine Bay? I have a Evo Intake installed... so my plan is to Cover the Filter and the Other Open End area... Then drench it in P21S TAW, aggitate where i can, then hose it down, cool? Should i worry about water getting into anything?

AudiOn19s is infamous around these parts
you should be fine with that technique. If you're worried you can cover the alternator...but I use basically this same technique all the time with no issues.

I have not used TAW; getting a sample shipment from p21s next week and will let you know. But from what I see on boards and other detailers' feedback, it's an excellent product and it is recommended to clean the engine. If you have it, you should be OK to use it.

As long as you've warmed the engine up and followed those directions, you should be fine.

zookie P21S Total Autowash is probably the absolute best degreaser you can get in the market I have used this product for over 15 years plus with no issues.

Follow the instructions and you will be fine. No need to drench it, just spritz it on the engine , brush and loosen up the dirt and grime and rinse. Then if you like dress it.
