New Detailer here!

Hello All!

My name is Nick, new to the site, but not new to forums or cars! I'm from the Chester County area of Pennsylvania. I don't drive anything exotic, just a blah 2009 Ford Fusion SE Sport, however I have spent hours around exotic/high end vehicles.

I am a detailer, and have been for years, in my free time. Also used to detail for Jaguar/Land Rover and Ford. I have worked with many exotic makes, such as:

Ferrari
Lamborghini
Aston Martin
Bentley
Maserati
Mercedes
BMW
Audi
and of course
Jaguar
Land Rover

among many more!

Also here to be apart of the 6speed community as I plan to have some worthy rides in the future!

I have a website in development, as well as a slew of pictures of before and after pics of customer cars. Feel free to contact me!

A bried example of my work, 2008 Shelby GT500, vehicle was left under brush for 3 months in direct sunlight!

Welcome to the forum. Did you start with Jag/Land Rover then start your own detailing business? If so, you and I had a similar start (I started at BMW/Jag/LR).

Again, welcome to the 6,
Brendan

Similar, I started with Jaguar/Land Rover which when I started to build up side work, then after leaving Ford I've been getting my own business off the ground. Thanks for the welcome!

Awesome. It's a long process getting enough work to do it all on your own, but it is really really worth it. I've got my business off the ground (seems like you do too) and I'm continually working in order to someday open a shop I can call home.

Sounds great man! I have been branching out further, I have luckily built up good clientele with side work while I worked at the dealerships. Just looking to make it bigger and hopefully as well having a home away from home

get a good camera....that is one recommendation I can make for you. I only used to use a P&S and took pics like the ones you posted...now I use a DSLR and the pic quality is so MUCH better...

I wish I was like you working on only high end cars, but I get the rest of them as well.

It's not about the quality of car, its the quality of work that makes you stand out as a detailer. I love getting an old, beat daily driver, because the results usually blow the owner away.

right, but tell me you wouldnt mind working on high end cars bringing those to perfection...because honestly, I have seen far too many high end exotics running around orange county that look average or worse than most DD black BMW's

Haha, I would completely agree (my Jeep is in the worst condition is has ever been in right now, so I am guilty of this too). I love DD's, but some of the incredible cars I have worked on lately have completely renewed my passion for detailing.

I agree with you, some of the M/AMG/R/any other High End brand cars around here look dis-owned. However it is mostly because of the weather which can be brutal up here.

I agree here as well, reviving an beaten DD Altima/or any other make car and making it look like the day the owner purchased it or better is a great feeling.

I do run-of-the-mill cars as well, I take any job that comes my way. I am working on this, my 7 mp digital cam has been lost to...couldn't tell you where hahaha.

Thanks for the remarks guys!

Welcome. You did an excellent job on that Mustang. What happen to that car anyway? Why is so dirty and neglected?
