Question Clay bar a windshield?

I know windshields have protective coatings, but the dealership I bought my car from got something all over the inside of it... I think they steam cleaned the interior and now there are a ton of "natural brown" specks baked onto the interior of the windshield--I've tried all types of cleaners and elbow grease, but they won't budge... Will a clay bar or razor blade damage the inside of the windshield??? Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

Claying the inside of a windshield should not cause damage, just use a good lube with it. Using a razor blade I do not reccomend

Soft Scrub work great too. Just abrasive enough to "deep clean", but won't scratch. Just be careful, it is bleach....

Thanks guys--I'm going to clay it tomorrow. I'll report back on the results

Edit: Well, the clay worked beautifully! No more bits of interior plastered to the windshield--I didn't realize how filthy it was until I looked at the clay... A little Stoner's cleaner to finish the job and I can see clearly now!
