Zymol Complete Kit

The Zymol Complete Kit is by far the way to go. I've bought alot of kits in my time, but this one is by far the best. Highly recommended.

Hey Moe:

All these kits are confusing me... Am I OK to stay with my Griot's Garage kit? Or will I really see a huge difference in perhaps another product?

pass on the griots and get yourself either a PC or a Flex with some Menzerna Polishes, as for the last step there are tons of good products out there.

What are you trying to accomplish?

The best overall polishing kit if you don't have a polisher is this:

If you already have a polisher:

For waxing, just add a bottle of glanz to the above kits for now.

Does that help? And yes, you'll see results far better than the Griot's Kits.

Looking for that Shine!

Hi:

Just looking to get that perfect shine and durability we all seek. With BLACK paint you know it is hard to reach and maintain that level.

I have the RA Buffer from Griot's already will your pads have the hook and loop the same or will the adaptor plate take care of that included in the kit?

Steps - Polish, Wax and enjoy is it that easy? Or should there be other sealers or anything else needed?

The paint on all my cars are not in bad shape at all I just want that awesome shine and durability.

Please advise!

Thanks so much,
99C2

The griot's polisher is actually pretty good. Our pads will fit it just fine since they're hook-and-loop.

The steps to follow are clay, polish, and wax. Keep it simple for now. After polishing with the menzerna, use the einszett glanz wax. It's much better than what you're use to if you've been using the griot's wax.

Hope this helps.

After having all three over the last few years, I think that the Flex polisher is the best polisher available, hands down. It is efficient, works well with Menzerna's polishes, and can do the same work that a PC does in about a third of the time.

If you didn't already own a polisher or have the porter cable, I'd say get the flex...hands down it's an excellent tool. However, the Griot's polisher isn't too bad if you already have it. I've used it a few times and it will work well for the average DIYer. The polish and the pad become more of a priority if you have the Griot's polisher. If money wasn't an object, give the Griot's polisher to a friend and get the flex. If on a budget and concerned about results, keep the griot's polisher and invest in pro-grade polishes and pads like Menzerna and our GP CCS pads. My 2 cents.

Moe:

Wow sounds like there is always room for improvement. I thought Griot's was the best (that I experienced) but I like to know that there is something better.

Never thought that I would be needing to buy another "tool" (She thinks I'm crazy already - this will prove it for sure)

FLEX - So I read up on your web site the constent rotation of the pad along with the random orbital action are the key to getting better results. I must agree with that idea. (Perhap you will have a deal of the centry sale soon and I'll just have to get one)

PADS - I gather that the pads are special too and although can be used with my current Griot's random action I could get buy until I break down and get the FLEX.

CLAY - (Clay if needed) - The weekend car's paint is perfect so I should not have to be concerned with imbedded contamination however the dailey driver always needs attention. (Parked at O'Hare about every week)

POLISH - 32oz Menzerna Super Intensive Polish - Then polish...

SUPER FINISH - 32oz Menzerna 106FA Super Finish - Then this step...

WAX - einszett Glanz Wax 500mL (Synth) - Then this step...(I know on the BLACK paint I really get a warmer finish with a carnuba - do you have a favorite?

After all this will it blow me away???

Thanks,
99C2

If the above stuff I recommended doesn't give you the results you're after, you have an unconditional guarantee...just send it all back.

PM sent....

Thanks for the advice! Sounds like you have a lot of experience with the FLEX. Now how do you like the Menzerna's polishes?

Sounds like you too may have tried the Griot's and perhaps others...can you elaborate?

Thanks,
