Which kit?

http://www.gloss-it.net/EvolutionPol...dv-164-13.html

http://www.gloss-it.net/EvolutionPai...idv-49-13.html

http://www.autogeek.net/optimum-kit.html

http://www.autogeek.net/menzerna-intro-kit.html

I was going to order both from Autogeek, but Gloss-it is a very good product, but is it as good as the proven ones?

I have used Menzerna before, but none of the other ones.

I have a car that I'm going to practice using the rotary on, I have only used a pc 7424

I'd go with the Menzerna myself. You can get perfect results every time.

I too would get the Menzerna line, but I would get Super Intensive Polish and Nano instead of what they have there. I used optimum after using menzerna...BIG mistake. The smell alone makes it terrible, but I got some bad marring afterward that never comes about with the Menz.

+3 for Menzerna...

You can get either of these kits:

http://www.glisteningperfectionstore...ish-Kit/Detail

http://www.glisteningperfectionstore...sh-Kits/Detail

As mentioned above, the results from the Menzerna are consistent and the kits above work for 90%+ of situations out there you may come up with.

Please don't hesitate to call or PM if you have any questions.

Thanks for the replies!

I was leaning towards Menzerna because I've used it before and have seen what it can do.

94nasupra is infamous around these parts
I just bought the Menzerna kit and I loved it. I did however order the Super Intensive Polish and planned to use that first then the finishing polish. My math behind that was that after Super Intensive Polish after a few months the scratches will not be that bad and I would just use up some of the Intensive Polish.

Menzerna polishes are pretty tough to beat IMHO. They just keep getting better and better.

Honestly I just started with the porter cable and I was told Menzerna was the best and from what I see I cannot get much better. I am 3 cars into the product and its amazing. Under the halogens the car looks almost perfect minus the really deep scratches that need to be wet sanded out (I never expected them to come out).

Phil,
Can you define the Menz polishes in descending order of cut ?

I got P085rd from you, and it's terrific ! Did a great job on my Red Turbo
I'm just unclear on the terminology..is 85rd "super intensive" or "Final polish" etc. Seems very confusing...would love to see a listing of the name, number of Menz polishes from strongest to least cut

thanks
Bill

Power Gloss Compond = aggressive heavy cut
Super Intensive Polish = medium cut
PO106FA = final polish - least cut
PO85RD = final polish - least cut(I believe this is the absolute best final polish out there especially on darker cars)

If you're going with the Menzerna, get it from one of the sponsors of this site like Moe or DD. Support those who support us!
