Detailed my SL

It's been over 1 year since my first polish. During this time i've read a lot and watched many threads in order to improve my skill in detailing.

I felt confident that i could improve my previous detail that i presented here.
https://www.6speedonline.com/forums/...sl55-blog.html

So...let's have a look at what i have been up to :buffer:

Wheels -

Prewash with snow foam and maxi suds then applied billberry and agitated with a brush

Tar spots were removed with a tar remover, then the rim was polished with P21S and then treated with Jetseal 109

Interior -

Mats where sprayed with biocarpet and then liquid extracted

Interior vacuumed

Hard to reach areas were cleaned with the magic stick

APC agitated with a brush

Interior was wiped down with Leatherique Pristine Clean

Rubbers were treated with 1Z Gummi

Glassmaster Pro on interior windows

Heated the seats to prepare them for L Rej Oil treatment

Rej Oil massaged into the seats using a MF glove

It was left overnight to do the job. Cleaned with Pristine clean.

Exterior -

Snow foam + CG citrus (high concentration to strip the layers)

Dried with miracle and compressed air. Under the lights i was happy to see that there were no major defects, some random light scratches and some very fine swilrs. The defects were corected with a LC spot pad and SIP

106FA + Platx

After the local corection i did a soft "peeling" with LC white and a combination of 106FA and 85RD

Jeweling stage was done with a Sonus red and 85RD and gave the following result

Washed it again to remove any dust and polish residue. Prewax was done with Lusso Oro (I love this product ! )

It was followed by Z Concours and on the spoilers/side skirts jetseal 109

End results

Excellent work and dedication to this detail. You were able to turn out high end professional quality results with this detail. Photography was outstanding as well. Bravo! Now to maintain your vehicle properly so you don't have to go through this process again for a long time.

Enjoy!

Thank you guys, i am very happy with the results

@ George - You may be pleased to know that Greg from DI helped me last year with that nice PC/Pads kit and it still works like a charm!

@ Moe - Thank you for your kind words and also thank you for that Z Concours, i love it. I enjoy using it, the smell turns the wax application into a therapy

@ Phil - I followed your advice on Lusso Oro prewax and i must say it's a great product, so easy to work with and really brings something to the finish, thank you !

The correction was done with the orange spot pad and SIP, it took 2 passes and some muscle
In the future i intend to go with a rotary i believe it will improve the finish by some degree but at the moment i am relaxed using the PC

Looks fantastic! Great work and a really nice color combo!

How do you like the Billberry wheel cleaner? Have you compared it to anything like P21's Wheel Gel?

Thanks!

D!

Thank you !

Billberry is a great product, does the job with ease. I don't have anything to compare it with, since it was so good i didn't felt the need to buy anything else
