Anyone ever heard of using perfume to remove paint markings?

I had some dents removed from my M5. One of my kids opened the SUV a bit to strong and dented my car leaving some white paint marking.

I called an recommended vendor who came to the office and took car of it. He removed the paint with perfume.

I still came home to wash and wax the car but I thought it was really fantastic.

Anyone heard of this?

That's a first I've heard of this. I wonder if it's the alcohol in the perfume. Does it matter what brand you use?

I would say it is the alcohol as I have used an alcohol wipey thingy in desperation one time to remove an ink pen mark on the leather of one of my previous cars.
