Touching up chips?
Touching up chips?
I'm looking at a black 993 which has 65K miles, and has several chips in different areas of the car. How likely is it that those chips could be touched up to look near perfect, and how much does it usually cost to do a bunch (20?) chips on the car?

The one thing you got going for you is that it's black. Doing a bunch of chips to near perfect is near impossible. What we do is touch up the chip with black paint, and over a period of about a week, we stack clearcoat in every chip, and then wetsand and polish flat. This process sounds much easier than it is, and usually the best method is to have the front end resprayed.
