996 GT2 (Rear) Window Tint Removal?

Guys,

996 GT2. What is the absolute best method or service to remove window tint from the rear window? Preventing damage to the window defroster heat filaments are a concern.

Thanks

The tint shop has to steam the window tint, then they can peel it off. I have bubbles or something in my rear window, and the tint shop is going to remove it that way. Said it takes 4-6 hours to heat the tint up good and remove it, then maybe another hour or two to replace it.

glad you're taking it off (if that's what you are doing...) - i really dislike nice cars with tinted windows - never understood the obsession

blocks out heat and sometimes we don't want people to know who's driving.

Sorry I didn't respond back to your email sooner...the best thing to do is to take it to a reputable tint place and have them remove it. It shouldn't run more than $50. Hope this helps.
